The Order of Love

In any relationship, if love is established according to what God says, it will succeed: As one character states “…if Christ is the foundation of your love, it will last through any and every thing”.

After 11 years, Eric and Erica Jones’ marriage is in trouble. The wife, feeling abandoned and unappreciated, has asked her hard-working and unsaved husband for a divorce. Desperate to save their marriage, the couple seeks help and finds counsel from a veteran couple who after 30 years of marriage “have learned a thing or two about being married”. Consumed by their own problems, the troubled couple is not aware of the effect their “fussing and fighting” is having on their child who turns to God for an answer to “why do my mommy and daddy have to fight?”

Natasha is a single woman who shamelessly wants to get married. In her desperation, she is looking to find love in all the wrong places, a fact she is forced to face through the advice of a male friend named Allen, who through years of ridicule has learned to be true to himself, despite what people think and say about him. Things eventually turn around for her once she begins to “run after the things of God… rather than running after some man.”

Nichole has reluctantly agreed to go on one date with Byron. On their first date, an abrasive and bitter Nichole informs Byron that her name “is Nichole, not Nicky”.
Seeing through her attitude Byron is the perfect match and tries to help her realize that there are still “a few good, no Godly men” left. But it is the Lord she must first go to in order to heal her past hurts.

Bee is a content single and successful attorney who “for the fun of it, goes shopping in Paris”. Faced with her friends’ relationship woes, Bee wonders “Now that their marriage is over, shouldn’t I get my wedding gift back?”

In 2 hours of practical, dramatic, and humorous situations, much wisdom is unveiled about relationships. You will laugh and you’ll cry, but the message is constant: Jesus is the foundation of real love and happiness.
